Who We Help
Flagler County, FL

Project Share is deeply committed to making the Christmas season brighter for Flagler County families in need. To do this, we partner closely with local schools, including Matanzas High School, Buddy Taylor Middle School, and Indian Trails Middle School. The guidance departments at the schools have a unique understanding of their communities and are in the best position to identify families who require assistance during Christmas. Project Share does not register families directly. We work only with the lists provided by the schools.
You may have noticed that we focus on Flagler County teenagers and their siblings at Christmas. This is because children in this age group are often the most challenging to provide for. Many Christmas outreach programs have a cut-off age that excludes older middle school and high school students. At Project Share, we believe that teenagers deserve the same joy and celebration that all children should experience during the holiday season. Thank you for helping us by adopting an older child if you can.
Pierson, FL
In Pierson, Project Share works closely with administration and staff at Pierson Elementary School and Taylor Middle-High School to identify the families we serve. By working through the schools, we can be confident that our support is directed to the families who truly need it the most. This intentional approach allows us to maintain a focused and efficient process, ensuring that our resources are utilized in the most impactful way possible.
Pierson, known as the “Fern Capital of the World,” is a small, rural town located about 45 minutes from Flagler County. Many of the approximately 1,500 residents face significant economic challenges. Due to its heavy reliance on agriculture, particularly fern farming, Pierson lacks sufficient resources and external assistance. Project Share’s efforts in Pierson aim to provide much-needed support to this underserved, neighboring community.
