Project Share is asking the community for support in providing toys for its annual “Project Share” Christmas toy drive.
“It truly takes a village to provide Christmas toys for over 800 children every year. We are only able to accomplish this thanks to the generous donations from neighbors, friends and so many very generous members of our community,” said Roseanne Stocker, Project Share founder and president.
Project Share, now in its 25th year, provides new, unwrapped Christmas toys, bicycles, and clothing for children ages birth – 16. Registration for the program is handled through local schools – Project Share does not register families directly.
Donations can be made by check to Project Share, PO Box 2228, Flagler Beach, FL 32136. Project Share is a 501c3 organization, Registration No. CH78088. Project Share giving trees containing stars with the wishes and sizes of children in need are located at churches and businesses throughout Flagler County. Some of the tree locations are:
- Dr. Scott Beat Acupuncture: 5 Florida Park Dr, Palm Coast, FL 32137
- Winn Dixie Flagler Plaza: 111 Flagler Plaza Dr, Palm Coast, FL 32137
- Halifax Plantation Golf Club: 3400 Halifax Clubhouse Dr, Ormond Beach, FL 32174
- Cypress Point Family Dentistry: 105 Cypress Point Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32164
- Sun Bro’s Cafe: 301 Moody Blvd, Flagler Beach, FL 32136
General donations of new toys and bicycles are also collected at these locations. Deadline for donations is Saturday, December 13.
“We so appreciate the way many people in our community pitch in to make a difference for families in need at Christmas,” said Stocker. “Our community is truly blessed to have so many generous people who really want to make a difference in the lives of others.”
